OKLAHOMA APSE MISSION
The Association for Persons in Supported Employment (APSE) and the Oklahoma Association for Persons in Supported Employment (OK-APSE) is a membership organization formed to improve and expand integrated employment opportunities, services, and outcomes for people with severe disabilities.
What We Do
Promotes mainstream employment opportunities for people with disabilities
Encourages the use of best practices and ethical standards in the delivery of employment services
Advocates for national, state, and local
policy development to enhance the social and economic participation of
people with disabilities in the community
Educates the public and the business community on the value of employing workers with disabilities
Provides advocacy and education for supported employment professionals, supported workers and their families
Publishes the Advance and Working Out newsletters for members
OVERSIGHT OF FEDERAL EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS
OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
